Maintaining the newsletter automations
- Requires access to JN AccessAlly WP site
- Requires access to Ontraport
- Requires access to metrics spreadsheet
Procedure
- There are two newsletter automations that need to be maintained.
- One goes out to the entire list of subscribers, and the other to master Course members (i.e., Master Course and Master Course + Josh Nichol mentorship students).
- Both automations have Subscription Settings set so that they appear on the subscriptions page and allow contacts to selectively unsubscribe..
- Entire list: One email per month (“monthly newsletter”). Jr regularly checks the Content Planner Spreadsheet for updates (would be nice if Cindy could notify instead :-))
- Members newsletter: An email is sent every Monday. In addition, live webinars happen once per month. These also need reminder emails. The reminder email is re-used each month, since the Zoom link is also reused.In addition, in this automation, we send out one email per month for Josh’s mentorship students only (use condition on trigger to filter) for booking a private session with him (reuse existing email each time).
- The same template is used for all emails except for the newsletter. Just copy a previous email.

- Cindy provides the copy for the emails through the Content Planner Spreadsheet. Jr has been creating the Ontraport messages and adding them to the relevant automation.
